Dell Named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District
GREENWOOD, Ind. - Junior Caleb Dell was named CSC Academic All-District, as announced and selected by College Sports Communicators.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Dell, featured throughout the season as a center back, is coming off receiving All-MEC Honorable Mention for the first time in his career. Dell played the third most minutes on the team with 1,320, being one of the main defenders for FSU all season. He helped lead Frostburg to their lowest goals against average since 2021, while also knocking in a goal and being credited with an assist in a game against Davis & Elkins.
