The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2024 Outdoor All-Region selections following the conclusion of the regular season.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2024 Outdoor All-Region selections following the conclusion of the regular season.

Frostburg had four athletes earn the distinction in senior Nate Mesy, juniors Marquise Burks and Tom McCoy, and freshman Nate Shields, all of which repeat from their Indoor season all-region honors. Mesy set a new program record in the 400 meters at 47.80, good enough for fifth in the region. McCoy also reset the record books, as his 5.01m in the pole vault set in one of the final meets of the season put him third in the Atlantic. Burks continued his hold on the Decathlon within the conference, scoring 6,284 points for fourth in the region, while Shields had a leap of 7.32m at the Hopkins/Loyola Invite that put him third all-time in program history and also fourth for the Atlantic.

The top five individual finishers are named to the All-Region teams, as well as the top three relay marks. A full list of the All-Region teams can be found here
