LOUISVILLE, Ky. - For the second consecutive season, Softball standout Jamie Roberts has been named NFCA First Team All-Region, as announced by the organization on Thursday.
In her final season wearing a Bobcat uniform, Roberts led the team in nearly every offensive category, while also ranking among the best hitters throughout the Mountain East Conference. In addition to being named First Team All-MEC, she ranked seventh in the conference in average, was third in hits and home runs, fourth in RBI, and fifth in slugging.
By earning back-to-back First Team honors, she becomes just the second player in school history to do so, following former standout Hannah Tavik, who reached the feat in 2015-16.
