Leitzel, Bonhivert Named PSAC Second Team All-Conference

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their Field Hockey All-Conference awards on Monday morning, with junior Paige Letizel and graduate Emilie Bonhivert each earning a spot on the PSAC Second Team.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their Field Hockey All-Conference awards on Monday morning, with junior Paige Letizel and graduate Emilie Bonhivert each earning a spot on the PSAC Second Team. 
 
In Frostburg's first-ever season in the PSAC, Leitzel and Bonhivert are the first Bobcats in program history to receive All-Conference honors at the Division II level. 
 
Letizel, Frostburg's main forward, finished with a team-high nine goals for a top-10 placement in the conference, while also handing out four assists for a team-high 22 points.  Leitzel ripped a total of 62 shots throughout the season, tying for the fifth most in the PSAC, while also securing a game-winning goal.  In her final season at FSU, Bonhivert lead the team in assists with six, for another top-10 spot in the conference.  Bonhivert played in 16 games at midfield, while also slicing home three goals for a total of 12 points on the year.
