Kearney, Walstrum Receive USILA All-American Honorable Mention

The United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced their Division II All-American teams with the senior duo of Seamus Kearney and Alex Walstrum representing Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse with Honorable Mention honors.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced their Division II All-American teams with the senior duo of Seamus Kearney and Alex Walstrum representing Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse with Honorable Mention honors.
 
Kearney repeats as an USILA Honorable Mention All-American, adding to his accolades of First Team All-ECC, USILA Honorable Mention All-Region, and USA LAX Magazine Honorable Mention American.  In his senior season, the long-stick midfielder broke the program's career record for caused turnovers with 141 to finish out his time in a Bobcat uniform.  Kearney led Frostburg with 37 CT's on the year for the eighth most in all of Division II, while also adding 56 ground balls and four goals to his season stat sheet.
 
Walstrum earns his first-ever All-American selection from USILA, also receiving First Team All-ECC, USILA Honorable Mention All-Region, and USA LAX Magazine Honorable Mention in his final year as well.  As FSU's face-off specialist, Walstrum ended 2025 leading all of DII in win percentage with .756%, while also setting Frostburg's single-season program record in the process.  He went 121-of-160 in the X, picking up a team-high 88 groundballs and providing a pair of goals and assists during the year.
