DeMaio Takes MEC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Graduate Camden DeMaio was named MEC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Graduate Camden DeMaio was named MEC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
 
DeMaio continues her dominance on offense, leading Frostburg to another undefeated week in conference play.  The attacker tallied a hat-trick in the team's 23-2 victory over Wesleyan on Wednesday, dishing out two assists for a total of five points on the day.  DeMaio sent in eight shots with seven being on goal, while also causing a pair of turnovers.  She then went on to put up a team-high eight points off four goals and four assists in the Bobcats' 17-9 win over Charleston (WV) on Saturday, where she saw four of her five shots on goal and caused one turnover.
