Hooper Selected as MEC Women's Swimmer of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Senior Kendall Hooper was named MEC Women's Swimmer of the Week for the first time this season, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
Hooper had a fantastic outing in the Vulcan Invitational over the weekend, racking up three first place finishes on the individual side, taking first in the 50-yard free (26.03), 100-yard fly (59.67), and 200-yard IM (2:17.39). She was also a part of the 200-yard medley relay that took first with a time of 1:52.15, as well as the second-place 200-yard free relay team that swam a 1:43.07.
