BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – Sophomore Isabelle Kelly earned MEC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week in Frostburg's opening week of the season, as this award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
FSU took their first game of the season over Barton College on Friday with a final of 14-8, as Kelly caused three turnovers and scooped up one ground ball in the team's first win. On Sunday, the Bobcats fell to No. 5 Grand Valley by a score of 12-4, as Kelly caused three turnovers once more and found herself with five ground balls.
