Greco, Gillette, Ehart, Doty Receive Women's Soccer All-MEC Honors

The Frostburg State Women's Soccer team saw four players earn All-MEC recognition, as announced by the league office.

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The Frostburg State Women's Soccer team saw four players earn All-MEC recognition, as announced by the league office. 

Senior defender Mary Greco, earning her first career all-conference selection, was named to the First Team after helping lead FSU to the joint-best defensive record in the conference. The Bobcats allowed just 14 goals in the entire regular season campaign with the best goals against average at 0.78. She netted a pair of penalty kick goals as well as an assist for five total points on the year. 

Another pair of seniors in midfielder Carly Gillette and center back Skylar Ehart were each named to the Second Team. Gillette netted three total goals as well as an assist, leading Frostburg with 44 total shots on the year. Ehart led the team in total minutes with 1,522, marshalling the back line while also providing a pair of assists. 

Rounding out the honors, sophomore goalkeeper Kayla Doty received an Honorable Mention nod, as she led the conference in total goals allowed (6), goals against average (0.55), and save percentage (82.9), while tying atop the MEC in shutouts (5).
