Men's Swimming Earns Fourth Place at Wooster Invite
WOOSTER, Ohio - The Frostburg State men's swimming team took fourth place at the Wooster Invite, putting up 895 points as a team.
FSU's best finish of the day came in the 100 fly, with junior Dylan King winning the event at 49.38 while setting a new program record. He had another pair of strong performances with second in the 200 fly and third in the 200 IM. Freshman Sean Filipovits also enjoyed some great results, taking fourth in the 100 fly at 50.99 before coming third in the 100 back with a time of 51.52, also setting a program record. Sophomore Bradin Norris had the final individual top-five mark iin the 400 IM at 4:18.44.
The Bobcats 400 free relay team of juniors Tory Reynolds and Joshua Stokes, Filipovits, and King finished fourth at 3:11.75, the same placement as the 400 medley relay with Filipovits, King, Reynolds, and senior Andrew Wetherhold in 3:30.58.
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday, December 13 for their senior day at home against IUP at 10 a.m. For information and updates please visit frostburgsports.com.
