PSAC Releases Field Hockey Preseason Poll

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their 2025 Field Hockey Preseason Poll on Monday afternoon with Frostburg State coming in ninth for the second consecutive season.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their 2025 Field Hockey Preseason Poll on Monday afternoon with Frostburg State coming in ninth for the second consecutive season.
 
In their PSAC debut a year ago, Frostburg finished in ninth with a 6-11 overall record and a 2-7 run in conference play.  FSU picked up their first-ever PSAC win over Slippery Rock at home in October, going on to defeat Millersville for their second conference win later in the season.
 
Kutztown stands at the top of the poll receiving seven first-place votes, while East Stroudsburg went for second with two-first place tallies and the defending PSAC champions of Shippensburg were given third with one first-place vote.  FSU sits between the Marauders of Millersville who took eighth and SRU who holds the tenth spot. 
 
The Bobcats begin competition on the road down south against Newberry on Saturday, September 6 at 12 PM followed by facing Lander the next day at 12 PM.
