Weakley Finishes Career with College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American Honor

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Wednesday the 2024-25 Academic All-America® Women's Basketball teams for NCAA Division I-II-III and NAIA, with Frostburg State senior Emilee Weakley being named a Division II First Team Academic All-American to round out her historic career.

AUSTIN, Texas - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Wednesday the 2024-25 Academic All-America® Women's Basketball teams for NCAA Division I-II-III and NAIA, with Frostburg State senior Emilee Weakley being named a Division II First Team Academic All-American to round out her historic career.
 
Weakley represented Frostburg Women's Basketball extremely well on and off the court, receiving All-MEC honors and holding a 3.89 GPA.  Weakley was named First Team All-MEC, while going on to capture First Team All-Region honors, as well as two All-American nods, all while majoring in Business Administration.  Weakley was crowned a CSC Second Team Academic All-American a season ago, making this her first time receiving the First Team honor.
 
The five members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.86, with the entire Division II team maintaining a collective average GPA of 3.91.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
