Women's Cross Country Starts Season with Eighth Place Finish in Cantello Invite
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team started their season off with an eighth place finish in the Cantello Invite on Saturday morning.
Freshman Reilly Teague secured the top finish for Frostburg in the 6k, knotting 23rd place with a 23:26.8 time, the ninth fastest in program history. Sophomore Emily Wishart (25:02.7) was next for the Bobcats in 48th place, with junior Adra Schell (25:36.5) close behind in 55th place. Freshman Morgan Ruggles finished 61st with a 25:58.3 time, while freshman Keira Taylor (27:53.5) and senior Amy Tarcza (28:29.4) split for 71st and 73rd place.
Senior Chelsea Monau took home a 19th place finish in the 5k with a 23:47.4 time, with sophomore Claire Woodring running a 27:09.7 for 30th place.
