SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Frostburg State Baseball senior Patrick Bauer was named NCBWA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Bauer, receiving his second MEC Pitcher of the Week honor just a day ago, improved his regular season record to 9-1 after getting the win in Frostburg's opening game with Fairmont. The righty tossed six strong innings, giving up just four hits along with one walk and zero runs, while striking out 10 for his third double-digit K game of the season.
