GREENSBORO, NC – The 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-Region Teams were announced on Wednesday with Frostburg State Baseball seniors Mikey Guy and Patrick Bauer being named First Team All-Atlantic Region.
Guy, with his first regional honor of the season, was a top hitter in the MEC in 2025, leading Frostburg in hits (71), doubles (15), and RBI (54) to help set him up for First Team All-MEC honors. The third baseman posted a .372 batting average to go for 40 runs, six home runs, and a .576% slugging percentage, while he finished his Bobcat career tied for the most career hits in program history with 168.
Bauer continues to rack up the awards to round out his time in a Frostburg uniform, already having seen First Team All-Region mentions from the NCBWA and D2CCA, after being named MEC Pitcher of the Year to conclude the regular season. The FSU ace led the conference in ERA (2.20) and strikeouts (89), showing a team-best 9-1 overall record on the year. He threw 65.1 total innings going for two complete games, giving up just 16 earned runs and 11 walks in 12 appearances while seeing a .225 opposing batting average.
