Frostburg State had two players receive MEC weekly football honors, as Jordan Brooks took Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Rainer Haveland earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Frostburg State had two players receive MEC weekly football honors, as Jordan Brooks took Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Rainer Haveland earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.

Brooks had a career day passing in the 32-30 triple OT victory over Charleston (WV), throwing 24-of-35 for 389 yards and four touchdowns. It was the fifth-most passing yards in a single game in program history, while he also threw the game-winning two-point conversion to Owen Doyle.

Haveland made a career-best nine tackles, including a pair of sacks in leading the defensive effort. It's the first time in both players' careers earning Player of the Week honors.
