Kiple Named CSC Second Team Academic All-American
AUSTIN, Texas – College Sport Communicators has announced the 2024 Academic All-America® baseball teams, of which senior Ethan Kiple was named to the Division II Second Team.
Following a standout career as one of the top hitters in program history, Kiple adds to his list of honors from this season, which includes being a two-time All-American, Regional Player of the Year, and MEC Player of the Year, among others. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Education with a 3.62 cumulative GPA while leading the program to its first appearance at the NCAA Division II Tournament.
With the selection, he becomes just the third player in program history to be named an Academic All-American and the first since two-time recipient Zach Keeler, who earned the distinction in both 2015 and 2016. He is also the first male athlete to receive the honor for the 2023-24 academic year, as four female FSU athletes have been recognized this season.
