Weakley Named D2CCA First Team All-Region
FROSTBURG, Md. - Sophomore Emilee Weakley earned a spot as First Team All-Region as announced by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on Thursday.
Among her accolades this season, Weakley was named the Mountain East Conference Player of the Year to go with First Team honors. The standout sophomore leads all of Division II in scoring at 25.2 points per game, while also averaging 6.8 rebounds and leading the team in steals with 37. Earlier this season, she surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career and currently sits ninth on FSU's all-time scoring list.
