Tennis Teams Receive ITA Academic Honors
FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Men's and Women's Tennis teams received academic honors from the ITA for the 2024-25 year, as announced by the organization.
Both teams were selected as All-Academic Teams, by which they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above. The men were one of 76 Division II squads to achieve the honor, while the women were one of 104 squads.
Additionally, several members of each team were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, where an athlete must have at least a 3.5 GPA in the academic year. For the men, their selections were senior Matt Bolen, juniors Cole Alcala, German Diaz, and Noah Fisher, sophomore Viktor Boban, and freshman Joey Mullenax. The women's team was represented by seniors Femke Hofkamp, Sydney Goering, and Julia Ramos, junior Alyssa Kush, and sophomores Patricia Castejon and Ella Troxell.
