Baker, Baptiste See All-Conference Honors for Men's Basketball

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced their 2024-25 Men's Basketball Postseason Honors and All-MEC Teams on Tuesday afternoon, with junior Jaden Baker and senior Koby Baptiste being recognized. 
 
Baker earned a spot on the All-MEC First Team, the first Bobcat to do so since the 2019 season.  Baker leads the team in scoring with 19.1 ppg, for second most in the conference.  Throughout the regular season, he shot 44.1% from the field, averaged 5.1 rpg, and dished out a team-high 77 assists.  Baker averages 3.2 assists per game, a top-10 mark in the MEC, while also seeing 49 steals on the season for second most in the conference. 
 
Baptiste received All-MEC Honorable Mention, paving himself to a two-time MEC Player of the Week season.  Baptiste sits second on the team in scoring with 13.3 ppg, while leading Frostburg in rebounds with an 8.1 average for fifth best in the conference.  He shot 44.8% from the field and 32.4% from behind the arch during the regular season, capturing six double-doubles.  Baptiste leads the team and the MEC in total steals with 61 and steals per game with 2.2.
