Street Named MEC Football Defensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – Frostburg State senior linebacker Colby Street was selected as MEC Football Defensive Player of the Week. This award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
Helping guide Frostburg to a 4-0 start to the season, Street recovered the game-saving fumble on defense to seal the Bobcat's 25-24 victory over Mercyhurst on Saturday. In the team's win, Street had a team-high seven tackles, six of them being solo, while also being credited with a quarterback hurry.
