Bauer Receives Final MEC Pitcher of the Week Honor
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Frostburg State Baseball senior Patrick Bauer took the final MEC Pitcher of the Week honor, announced on Monday by the league office and presented by The Health Plan.
Bauer threw another gem from the bump to close out the regular season, picking up the 6-1 win in Frostburg's opening game with Fairmont on Friday. The righty tossed six solid innings, giving up just four hits along with one walk and zero runs, while knotting his third double-digit strikeout game with 10. The win sits Bauer with a 9-1 record and 1.82 ERA in the regular season.
