Mock Selected as MEC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Sophomore Paige Mock was named MEC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
Mock helped guide Frostburg to a huge five-set win over West Liberty on Tuesday, allowing the team to clinch a spot in the conference tournament. Mock put up 12 total blocks, while also seeing six kills, three digs, and two service aces for a total of 14.5 points. The team fell in a close match to Fairmont State to conclude their regular season, where Mock added five blocks, eight kills, two digs, and one service ace.
