Quintero Rivas Selected as D2CCA Second Team All-Region
ATHENS, W.Va. – Frostburg State Men's Soccer junior forward Carlos Quintero Rivas was named Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Second Team All-Region, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
After a historic season, helping lead Frostburg to their best-ever start to a season since 2015, Quintero Rivas led the team in goals with 11, tying for third-most in the MEC. As an All-MEC First Team member, Quintero Rivas also dished out two assists for a total of 24 points for another team high. The forward ripped 37 shots for a top-10 finish in the conference, securing three game winning goals on the season.
