Kearney Named USILA Preseason Second Team All-American
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced their Division II Preseason All-Americans on Wednesday afternoon, with Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse senior Seamus Kearney earning Second Team All-American honors.
Having also been named ECC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, Kearney, long-stick midfielder, enters the approaching season with 31 caused turnovers and 46 ground balls in 2024, having been named First Team All-ECC and USILA All-Region. A year ago, Kearney surpassed 100 career caused turnovers, just the second Bobcat in history to do so, while leading Frostburg to the best scoring defense in the conference, allowing just 9.41 goals per game, and also the most caused turnovers per game in the ECC as a team.
