Baseball Lands Three with CSC Academic All-District Nods

AUSTIN, Texas – Frostburg State Baseball had a trio of players receive College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors on Tuesday with junior Joe Pippin and sophomores Ryan Bouma and Jay Ray being recognized this year.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

All three athletes played a tremendous part in Frostburg's success on the field this year, helping the Bobcats boast a 36-win season.  In the classroom, all three players shined as well with Pippin showing a 3.8 GPA in Accounting, while Bouma holds a 3.5 in the Law & Society major and Ray has a 3.6 in Business Administration.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
