BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Soccer team was picked to finish eighth in the MEC Preseason Poll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. 
 
Frostburg finished seventh in the MEC last season, in between West Liberty and Wheeling, concluding the season with a 6-11-1 overall record and a 3-10-1 conference record.  The Bobcats received 13 votes in the poll, coming up right behind Wheeling, who took seventh place with 14 points. 
 
FSU kicks off their 2024 season in a conference matchup on the road against West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday, September 8 at 3 PM.  Frostburg welcomes in the District of Columbia on Wednesday, September 11 at 7 PM for their first home contest of the year.
