FROSTBURG, Md. – Jarett Waters has been selected as Frostburg's cheerleading coach as announced on Monday by Director of Athletics Troy A. Dell.

"I look forward to working with this new group of athletes, continuing to build this program for Frostburg State and starting my next chapter as a Bobcat," said Waters.

Prior to Frostburg, Waters served as the head coach of the cheerleading program for the Catholic University of America (CUA) from August 2015 to August 2018. CUA's cheerleading program cheered for football as well as both men's and women's basketball teams and helped strengthen the gameday experience.

While at CUA, Waters managed the team budget, organized practices and helped developed the student-athlete's physical skills.

Waters has been with the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) since 2011 and has served as a head instructor for the last three years. With the NCA, Waters developed choreography for both high school state level and college nationals level competitions. He also works with teams to help build their skills for gameday and competition: both high school and collegiate.
