Men's Cross Country Picked Fourth in MEC Preseason Poll
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced their 2025 Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon placing Frostburg State in the number four spot for the second straight year.
Frostburg is coming off an eighth-place finish in the conference championships last season, going on to finish 16th in the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.
The Bobcats captured 69 total points in the poll, sliding in between Concord (75) and West Virginia Wesleyan (60). Charleston is the preseason favorite, having totaled 97 points and seven first-place votes in the poll, as Davis & Elkins, the defending champions, took second with 94 points and four first-place votes.
FSU starts their season at the Galen Piper XC Challenge at Shippensburg on Friday, September 5 at 8 PM.
