GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Frostburg State Men's and Women's Swimming teams placed seven athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Juniors Andrew Wetherhold and Alex Whitton, along with sophomore Isaac Cummings represented Frostburg on the men's side, while senior Lydia Nebiolo, junior Abigail McCauley, and sophomores Brenna Naddeo and Alexis Ramsey show for the women's side. Cummings, McCauley, Naddeo, and Ramsey all sit with a perfect 4.0 in the classroom, while Wetherhold, Whitton, and Nebiolo all show a GPA higher than 3.7.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
