Kearney, Walstrum, Roach Put On Final ECC Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse placed a trio of players on the final weekly ECC Honor Roll of the season, with seniors Seamus Kearney and Alex Walstrum, alongside sophomore Luke Roach being selected.
Kearney led Frostburg to a 13-7 win over Roberts Wesleyan in the team's regular season finale on Saturday, helping the Bobcats capture the No. 3 seed for this week's ECC Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament. Anchoring the defensive effort for FSU, Kearney recorded a team-high four caused turnovers to go along with four ground balls.
Rounding out his impressive regular season in the X, Walstrum did what he does best, taking 8-of-10 face-offs over RWU, while also being credited with a team-high six ground balls and a goal as well.
Roach paved the way on offense for the Bobcats in their regular season finale victory over the Redhawks, leading both squads with a hat-trick and an assist for four points, sending in a total of six shots on the day.
