Walstrum, Roach, Kearney Named USILA Honorable Mention All-Region
FROSTBURG, Md. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2025 USILA Division II All-Region North Teams on Tuesday afternoon, of which three Frostburg State players received Honorable Mention accolades.
Seniors Alex Walstrum and Seamus Kearney add on to their postseason honors, where each was named USA LAX Magazine Honorable Mention All-Americans. Walstrum, the team's face-off specialist, ended the season leading all of Division II in win percentage (.756) while also setting the single-season program record in the process. He went 121-of-160 in the X, picking up a team-high 88 groundballs and providing a pair of goals and assists during the year.
Kearney broke the program's career caused turnover record (141) after racking up 37 this season, which tied him for eighth in the country. He had the third-most groundballs for the Bobcats with 56 while also adding four goals.
Joining them was sophomore Luke Roach, the team's leading scorer with 31 goals, 7 of them on man-up opportunities, tacking on 7 assists for 38 points. He also chipped in with 6 caused turnovers and 19 groundballs.
