Baseball, Softball Announce Rescheduling Changes from This Past Weekend
FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Baseball and Softball teams have confirmed their rescheduling updates after weather affected their doubleheaders this past Sunday.
Softball's first game against Wheeling from Sunday, March 30 has been announced as final, with FSU losing 5-2 after 4 2/3 innings had been completed. Their second game against the Cardinals will now be played as a single 7-inning contest on Tuesday, April 1 at 12 p.m.
Baseball, who had defeated Davis & Elkins 8-1 in a complete first game, will now play a single 7-inning contest as a make-up for game two on Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. The game's location has also moved from Elkins, WV to Mylan Park in Morgantown, WV. Additionally, the team's road Wednesday 9-inning game against Indiana (Pa.) has moved up from a 3 p.m. start time to now a 1 p.m. start time.
