The SafeRide Program, an initiative of the Student Government Association, offers safe transportation to current students attending Frostburg State University. SafeRide, a student-operated program, is free to all students. It provides various employment opportunities to the students of FSU as well as offers students and recognized student organizations the opportunity to earn volunteer hours. SafeRide runs almost anywhere in the city of Frostburg. Current FSU students may call the SafeRide Office at 301-687-RIDE (7433) during operating hours to request a ride.

On Saturday, November 8 from 10 am to 2 pm, Frostburg State University is turning up the energy for the Western Maryland STEM Festival—a free, hands-on celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math!Headlining the day: the one and only Steve Spangler—Emmy Award–winning STEM superstar—bringing his high energy keynote, ‘Best Day Ever!’ presentation. Expect clouds of liquid nitrogen, jaw-dropping experiments, and science that will make you say, ‘Wow!’ Come and discover the spark of STEM for yourself.
