MEC Announces Women's Basketball Semifinal to be Streamed on MASN2
WHEELING, W.Va. — Saturday's Mountain East Conference Women's Basketball Tournament matchup between top-seed Fairmont State and fourth-seeded Frostburg State will be regionally televised on MASN2, as the MEC announced on Friday. The semifinal game is set for noon inside WesBanco Arena.
MASN2 is a companion channel to the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). MASN and MASN2 are regional sports networks that televise games for the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals, in addition to pre- and post-game shows, and men's and women's collegiate sports. MASN covers the Mid-Atlantic region, which stretches from Harrisburg, Pa., to Charlotte, N.C., and parts of West Virginia and Delaware.
"We are thrilled to partner with MASN to broadcast a Mountain East Conference Women's Basketball Tournament game," Mountain East Commissioner Reid Amos. "This regional television matchup gives the league yet another opportunity to showcase our talented student-athletes, but also bring our first-class basketball championship into more households. We are excited for fans to witness a pair of great teams with high-caliber talent."
Fairmont State is the No. 1 seed after capturing the MEC Regular Season Title. The Falcons are the defending Conference Tournament champs, and have 2025 MEC Player of the Year Leslie Huffman, and Coach of the Year Stephanie Anderson. Frostburg State is in its first MEC Basketball Tournament semifinal, as 2024 MEC Player of the Year Emilee Weakley leads Division II in scoring.
Fans can watch MASN2 on DISH Network (Channel 433) and on DirecTV Stream (Channel 640-1). MASN2 can also be streamed on MASNsports.com and the MASN Mobile App.
