Weaver Named Head Football Coach at Albright College
The Albright athletics department has announced that Frostburg State Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Shaun Weaver has accepted the position of Head Football Coach for the Lions.
READING, PA. – The Albright athletics department has announced that Frostburg State Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Shaun Weaver has accepted the position of Head Football Coach for the Lions.
Prior to his arrival at FSU, Coach Weaver spent four full seasons at Albright in various roles, including defensive coordinator, special team's coordinator, defensive line coach, and recruiting coordinator. Weaver made an immediate impact at Frostburg State, coaching Yasir Holmes and Leonard Scott to All-Conference First Team honors, while Delonta Butler earned an Honorable Mention distinction. The Bobcats finished second in the MEC in sacks (29) and forced fumbles (12), with the third-best mark in yards allowed per game (325).
