Frostburg State Head Football Coach Eric Wagoner was announced as a part of The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Class, for his time as a former athlete and coach of the USF football program.  Wagoner will be inducted at the CASPY Awards on Thursday, April 24.

College Sports Communicators announced their 2024 Football Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, with Frostburg State Football seeing seven players receive the honor.

The Don Hansen Football Committee has released the 2024 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America teams, with Frostburg State redshirt sophomore Jordan Marcucci earning Honorable Mention as an all-purpose player.

The Albright athletics department has announced that Frostburg State Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Shaun Weaver has accepted the position of Head Football Coach for the Lions.

The Frostburg State Football team saw 12 players receive All-MEC Honors on Tuesday afternoon, as the All-Conference teams were announced by the league office and determined by a vote of the MEC Head Football Coaches.

The Frostburg State Football team concluded their season with a narrow 31-28 loss at home to Fairmont State after a last-second field goal.
