AUSTIN, Tx.- The College Sport Communicators announced the Academic All-District Volleyball teams on Tuesday, with three Frostburg players receiving the distinction in senior Hayley Delor and juniors AJ Thompson and Fiona Gonzalez Medina.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Delor has just wrapped up her FSU career as one of the top setters to play in a Bobcat uniform. Her 2,698 assists stand sixth all-time in program history, having surpassed 1,000 assists this past season for the first time in her career. She also compiled 223 kills, 866 digs, and 142 blocks as a versatile player.

Gonzalez Medina has made her mark as a top libero, already ranking seventh all-time for Frostburg in digs in just her junior season. In the past two seasons, she has set the eight- (512) and tenth-highest (471) single-season dig totals for FSU.

Thompson, also with another year of eligibility remaining, appears in the Bobcat career record books as well, sporting the eight-most blocks (234) in school history, along with the ninth-highest career hitting percentage (.236).
