Frostburg State Athletics will be taking a preview for each team competing in the fall season, covering eight total sports. Over the next week, each team will be broken down into their expectations, key players, and overall outlook for their season and program.  To start off the final week is Volleyball.

The Mountain East Conference announced the league's volleyball preseason poll on Wednesday afternoon, with the Frostburg State Volleyball team coming in fourth in the North Division.

Frostburg State Director of Athletics Troy Dell has announced the hiring of Peter Letourneau as Head Volleyball Coach, marking his return to the helm of the program.

The College Sport Communicators announced the Academic All-District Volleyball teams on Tuesday, with three Frostburg players receiving the distinction in senior Hayley Delor and juniors AJ Thompson and Fiona Gonzalez Medina.

The Frostburg State Volleyball team saw their season come to a close with a 3-0 loss to Wheeling in the Quarterfinals of the MEC Tournament on Tuesday afternoon.

The Frostburg State Volleyball team is set to travel to Institute, WV to face North No. 1 seed Wheeling on Thursday afternoon in the first round of the Mountain East Conference Tournament.

Senior outside hitter Beverly Braun was named Second Team All-MEC in volleyball, as announced on Wednesday by the league office.

The Frostburg State Volleyball team concluded their regular season with a 3-1 loss at home to Fairmont State on Friday night.
