Braun Earns MEC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Senior Beverly Braun received her first MEC Offensive Player of the Week of the season, as announced by the league office. The conference awards are presented each week by The Health Plan.
In helping the team to a pair of wins over Salem (WV) and Glenville State last week, Braun tallied 33 kills across both contests. Versus the Tigers, she had 14 kills, hitting .364 for the match while adding an ace and a pair of blocks in the effort. Against GSU, she put down 19 kills in just three sets, hitting .333 while serving up three aces. She also recorded five blocks and 11 digs, putting her over 1,000 digs in her career, having already surpassed 1,000 kills earlier this season.
