Three Named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District for Volleyball
AUSTIN, Texas – College Sports Communicators announced their Volleyball Academic All-District honors on Tuesday afternoon, with seniors AJ Thompson and Fiona Gonzalez Medina, and junior Amanda Knieper receiving the distinction.
All three fit into a main role during the season, accounting for 11 wins on the court as Thompson and Knieper provided on the offensive end, and Gonzalez Medina served as the libero/defensive specialist. Off the court and in the classroom, all three hold just under a 4.0 GPA, as Thompson and Gonzalez Medina look to conclude their college careers and experience in the spring.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
