Alcala, Diaz Receive 2025 All-MEC Honors for Men's Tennis
The Mountain East Conference announced its Men's Tennis all-conference teams on Friday afternoon, with Frostburg State receiving two honorees.
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced its Men's Tennis all-conference teams on Friday afternoon, with Frostburg State receiving two honorees.
Junior Cole Alcala earned a spot on the First Team for the first time in his career, having received Second Team honors as a freshman. He finished the season with a record of 18-13, competing regularly at No. 1 doubles and singles.
His classmate and doubles partner German Diaz was named Second Team All-MEC after earning First Team honors last season. He compiled a record of 18-10, appearing at No. 1 doubles with Alcala and No. 2 singles through much of the year.
