The Frostburg State Women's Soccer team was selected to finish first in the North Division for the third consecutive year, as shown in the MEC Preseason Poll announced on Wednesday afternoon by the league office.

Frostburg State Athletics will be taking a preview for each team competing in the fall season, covering eight total sports. Over the next one and a half weeks, each team will be broken down into their expectations, key players, and overall outlook for their season and program.  Second up for this week is Women's Soccer.

United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the College Team Academic Award winners, where Frostburg State was one of 243 total women's teams to receive the honor.

The Frostburg State Women's Soccer program once again was among the recipients of the United Soccer Coaches Ethics and Sportsmanship Award, the 16th straight season with the honor.

Seniors Hannah Thompson and Ashley Bilger were named CSC Academic All-Americans, as announced on Wednesday by College Sports Communicators.

Junior Cat Smitt was announced D2CCA Third Team All-American on Wednesday, by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

The 2023 United Soccer Coaches announced NCAA Division II Women's All-Atlantic Region teams on Monday, with seniors Ashley Bilger, Toni Fiocco-Mizer, and Hannah Thompson, along with junior Cat Smith receiving the honors.

Junior defender Cat Smith was named D2CCA First Team All-Region on Tuesday, as announced by the organization.
